Safety Systems
Growing a true safety culture is at the root of growing your company. Many small business owners have the misperception that they don't have time or resources to implement and maintain a true safety program. In fact, there are those that don't see the need for one.
As you probably know, OSHA takes a work place safety very seriously. You can view the safety category in our blog or go to OSHA web site to see what kind of fines they hand out to those that don't take safety seriously. However, beyond the regulatory requirement that you must provide your worker a safe place to work, it is also ethical, the right thing to do, and good business.
If you don't currently have a formal safety program, it is highly recommended that you begin creating soon; especially before someone gets hurt, or worse. Remember, these are your people and it is up to you to keep them safe while working for you.
